The xMEG is a versatile, highly-scalable network gateway appliance for service providers deploying next generation services at the edge and core of their networks. xMEGs leverage the latest innovations in high-capacity, low-latency fast-path x86 processing, on carrier-grade Linux, as an easy-to-deploy appliance-based solution.

The xMEG series is based on high-end computing hardware and comes in three flexible hardware form factors with different interface, compute and storage configurations: xMEG-10, xMEG-100, and xMEG-200. These offer customers an alternative to a fully virtualized deployment for the most demanding networking and IP service applications.
