Major Tier-1 Deploys Benu Networks For North American Community Wi-Fi

BILLERICA, MA., May 20, 2014 – Benu Networks announced today that a major North American MSO has deployed their solution for Community Wi-Fi deployments. In addition, Benu is in lab trials at two North American service providers.

Benu’s Community Wi-Fi solution future proofs the operator’s network to support a Virtual CPE application where the home network is bridged to the operators cloud for enhanced broadband service delivery in a tightly coupled Managed Over The Top (OTT) architecture.

The public cloud-based services market is expected to exceed $180B by 2015. Benu’s solutions offers fixed and mobile operators a scalable, access-independent real-time subscriber management platform that changes the paradigm from competing on speed and price to enabling revenue-generating public and private cloud-based services at the edge of the IP network.
